New carb parts make me happy!

Boyesen Twinshot is worth every penny it cost me. It got rid of the bog and hesitation of the stock carb.

The Pow Pow...

My first attempt at powder coating. Bead blasted the rust off the peg mounts, masked and used a high gloss black powder. Maybe I should of sanded some of the pits out of the metal, but I am very happy with the results that I had on my first go round.

Chop the cross-over... time to wrap it up!

More new parts... most bought while on vacation.

Just for the brass....

So I decided to add a few brass touches to the sporty since my Joker Machine air cleaner came with brass fittings, I figured I would add a few more highlights. Polished the heads before putting them on.

Gettin closer...

The Sporty is gettin closer to what I want. The new fork boots look real sweet on it. I was real surprised to how easy taking the front end off by my self. It took me longer to get the bike all strapped down on the lift then it did to take the forks off and on. Not I think a little powder coating, black paint, and some brass bolt high lights... maybe a little gold sputtering too.

Gone snowboarding... but still thinkn about bikes...

Out on the town in Salt Lake City, I had to hit up Moto Mondays with the Bolts Action crew
It was about 20 degrees out and these boys wanted to ride...
Hot Bikes and cold nights was what it was all about in the SLC... I need to bring the Sporty out here this Spring.
